Harris Hill Nursing Facility Appoints Melissa Ross Gravely as Assistant Administrator

LANCASTER, NY – Melissa Ross Gravely, BHCM, CLTC, has been appointed as the assistant administrator at Harris Hill Nursing Facility, one of six skilled nursing and rehab facilities in the McGuire Group portfolio. It is part of an enterprise that is jointly branded as Living Legends and includes RCA Healthcare Management/Absolut Care, Taconic Health Care and VestraCare; together, providing high quality care to more the 2,800 individuals across New York State.

In this capacity, Gravely is responsible for assisting the administrator in directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with the current federal state and local guidelines. She also assists in the recruitment and selection of key personnel, as well as planning, conducting and scheduling training and orientation programs.

Gravely has worked in the accounts receivable department at the McGuire Group’s corporate center and carries years of experience in health care and finance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health care management from Trocaire College, earned a certification in long-term care from D’Youville University and holds a certification in leadership management from Trocaire College. She is currently continuing her studies at D’Youville to earn a master’s degree in health care administration.

Gravely is a member of the Black Achievers of Buffalo and Friendship Baptist Church. She is also a Pretty Brown Girls Organization Mentor and an alumnus of Trocaire College and D’Youville University.

She resides in Cheektowaga with her husband Mario Ross and has five children: Rhonesha, Shanese, Chelsea, Ashlie and Malik Ross.
