Blood Transfusion Services

We’re proud to be the first and only long-term care provider in New York State authorized to administer in-house blood transfusion services. This innovative level of treatment is available to all patients/residents who meet the criteria and have a chronic or non-urgent need for a blood transfusion. Services are available at three Western New York locations including: Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville and Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda.

Highly Skilled Team

Highly trained Registered Nurses administer transfusion services under the direction of a treating Physician.

Dedicated treatment rooms include:

  • Pumps
  • Medications
  • Documentation stations
  • Reclining chairs
  • iPads
  • Warming blankets
  • Television and magazines
